Hyundai has started sales of a limited Sports Edition trim of its Creta mini-SUV in India. Novelty is limited to exterior décor and some extra equipment.
The sported-up Creta has tinted headlights, a radiator grille with a Dark Chrome bezel, a dual black/white paint scheme, redesigned lower bumpers, black side mirror caps, black rear spoiler, and silvery roof railings.
The cabin trim is also predominantly black, extending as far as the steering wheel and the seats adorned with embossed special edition logos. The silver-tinted air blowers create the necessary contrast.
The standard feature list of the Hyundai Creta Sports Edition encompasses climate control, a 7-inch multimedia system, a power-assisted sunroof, cruise control, and a wireless mobile charger.
Customers may choose between a 1.6-liter gasoline engine rated at 123 hp (92 kW) and its diesel counterpart capable of 128 hp (95 kW). Both are limited to manual transmission.
Prices begin at 1,278,000 Indian Rupees, which roughly translates into 18,000 USD.
