Hyundai Indonesia has shared the first heavily stylized photos of its facelifted Creta SUV. Like on the design sketchers posted before, the car has a front fascia reminiscent of the marque’s larger cars.
The company emphasized that Indonesia was considered the main target market for the model. Speaking of the changes, one can point out a new front bumper, a radiator grille with large cells for pattern, and Tucson-style headlights that seem to merge with the grille in places. Earlier teasers also revealed new taillights; you can find them here in our gallery, too.
Aesthetic touches will not be all the novelty in the new Creta, though. The company has announced a telematics service called Hyundai Bluelink, using which the owner of the car will be able to access its functions remotely, get status information, and even lock engine or track the car on the map if there is a suspected theft attempt. A new feature will enable locking infotainment system access if the car is handed over to third parties. Valet Parking will be improved, too.
The premiere remains scheduled for November 11, 2021. Hyundai claims that the Creta is its first production car to be made in Indonesia specifically for that country’s market.
