Hyundai has unveiled a modernized Creta crossover for Indonesia. Compared to its peers in all other markets, this particular version has a front fascia inspired by the brand’s larger SUVs.
The car is 4,315 mm long with 2,610 mm between the wheels and rides on 17-inch wheels. The front end gives off distinct Tucson and Palisade vibes thanks to the characteristic radiator grille with invisible built-in DRLs and the bulky bumper incorporating headlights. The only slightly retouched thing at the rear end is the bumper. Customers can choose from a variety of finishes, including bi-color ones.
Inside, the digital dash screen is 10.25 inches across and there is an 8-inch infotainment touchscreen built into the center console. Bluelink services are supported, and the SmartSense package now includes lane control, blind spot monitoring, and collision prevention.
A 1.5-liter engine under the hood hits the front wheels with 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW) and 144 Nm (106 lb-ft) of torque via a six-speed manual transmission or IVT. Drive modes accessible via a knob on the center tunnel include Comfort, Sport, Smart, and Eco. Also new is a traction control system with a few off-road-focused presets.
