The facelifted Hyundai Creta SUV used to be sold exclusively in Indonesia, but it is now available in a number of Southeastern Asian countries. In this region, it is so far restricted to a 1.5-liter non-turbo engine and FWD.
The Creta received the original facelift in 2021, gaining a new Tucson-like front fascia with a louver-filled radiator grille and integrated DRLs. At first, it debuted in Indonesia with a choice between six-speed manual transmission and CVT, and was not available anywhere else.
Starting now, it is also on sale in Vietnam and Thailand. The only option is a naturally aspirated engine rated at 115 PS (113 hp / 85 kW) mated to a CVT (no manual).
Speaking of trim levels, Hyundai offers four of them in Indonesia, three in Vietnam and two in Thailand. The entry-level Thailand spec has six airbags, cruise control, a digital dashboard, automatic emergency braking, lane control, and blind spot monitoring.
