Hyundai premieres the Elantra N Line

Five months after the launch of the next-generation Hyundai Elantra, the range expands to incorporate a performance-conscious Elantra N-Line version, which gets a more powerful 1.6-liter turbo-four engine.

The mill churns out 201 hp (150 kW) along with 265 Nm (195 lb-ft) of peak torque and can be paired with six-speed manual or seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.

From the aesthetic side of things, the N Line sets itself apart with a different radiator grille, larger front air intakes, black moldings, 18-inch wheels, side skirts, a rear spoiler and diffuser, and chrome-coated exhaust tips.

Crack open the door to be greeted by a new steering wheel, seats, alloy pedals, red stitching and assorted metallic décor.

Hyundai reports that sales will start later this year.
