Hyundai has posted two teaser pics of its hottest Elantra model along with a presentation slide hinting at two more performance crossovers coming up soon.
The Elantra N is depicted wrapped in a disguise film, but even so, one can discern its intricate bumpers, larger exhaust tips and rear wing. Watch the video for the same car recently spied at the Nürburgring.
Hyundai seems in no hurry to reveal the engine specs, but chances are good that the Elantra N lands with the 2.0-liter turbo-four engine of the latest i30 N, rated at 280 PS (276 hp / 206 kW) and available with an six-speed manual or an eight-speed DCT transmission. We will know for sure during the launch event later this year.
The presentation slide contains two vaguely SUV-shaped vehicles covered with tarp, suggesting that the N department may be working on another couple of performance cars right now.
