Hyundai India has released new information about its upcoming staple model for that market – the Exter. The brand’s cheapest car will be revealed on June 10.
Despite being actively advertised as a low-end car, it comes equipped with as many as six standard airbags – frontal, side and curtains. All in all, the vehicle comes with 26 safety-improving features.
Other notable highlights include ESC, hill launch assist, rear parking sensors, a back-up camera, an anti-theft alarm and a dash camera duo.
The carmaker has confirmed that the Exter is a sub-4-meter crossover powered by a 1.2-liter engine. You can choose between a petrol and a bi-fuel version, but the internals stay largely the same across the two.
