The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has announced the forthcoming domestic release of a diesel-driven Genesis G80 luxury sedan.
The car gets the same 2.2-liter e-VGT engine with two-hundred-something horsepower that the current Genesis G70 series cars come equipped with.
The new Hyundai Genesis G80 also gets an 8-speed manual gear switch and comes in both the front-driven and the 4WD variant. According to the manufacturer, it also offers better noise proofing than its predecessor.
The diesel-powered Hyundai Genesis G80 will soon be issued in South Korea in two trim levels, Luxury and Premium Luxury. The former is going to cost at least 51,700,000 Won, the latter – 57,000,000 Won and above.
It could be reminded that the current-generation Hyundai Genesis G80 gets two main motor options: the 3.3L V6 GDi rated at 282 hp and the 3.8L V6 GDi rated at 315.
