Hyundai i20 gets a small-time update in Europe

The Hyundai i20 hatchback was originally designed for the Old World markets and never enjoyed great sales, but the company still produced three generations of it (see video) and has now facelifted the model for 2024.

The scope of changes is minimal: there is a subtly retouched radiator grille, redesigned bumpers and a badge that moved from the hood cover to the grille. The wheels also sport new designs, and the exterior color palette is wider, but that’s about it.

Inside, all filament light bulbs are gone with LEDs installed in their place. The buyers can choose from a wider selection of trim colors, and the hardware on board accepts over-the-air updates.

From the technical perspective, the i20 is a mild hybrid obtainable in two forms: 100 PS (99 hp / 74 kW) and 120 PS (118 hp / 88 kW).
