Hyundai i30 & N-Line debut in Europe

Hyundai has unveiled the long-awaited i30 and its sported-up sibling, the N-Line, in their Europe versions. Let us have a better look at both.

Compared to the pre-facelift, the new i30 boasts a more modern, edgier headlight design, triangular LED DRLs, a large radiator grille, and revised bumpers. The N-Line keeps its aggressively styled front spoiler while getting a slightly reshaped rear diffuser.

Inside, the Hyundai i30 benefits from an updated infotainment system with a 10.25-inch screen, as well as a 7-inch digital dashboard. Other than that, the interior stays stock.

The engine range is represented by a 1.5-liter non-turbo gasoline engine rated at 108 hp (81 kW) and its turbocharged counterpart with 158 hp (118 kW). The latter comes bundled with a 48V starter-generator, making it a mild hybrid. There is also a 118-hp (88-kW) one-liter turbo and a 134-hp (100-kW) 1.6 TDI unit, both equipped with the 48V starter. Customers can choose between manual and 7-speed automatic for the transmission.
