Hyundai i30 N Drive-N hits the market in Europe and Australia

After announcing its i30 N Drive-N hot hatch this last spring, Hyundai has finally brought it to the showrooms in the Old World and Down Under.

Customers in Europe will be getting 620 cars, while those in Australia will fight over just 180 units. Compared to the standard hatchback, the Drive-N comes adorned with door decals, 19-inch wheels finished in bronze, and black trim pieces all around. The badges on the front fenders state the coordinates of the Hyundai N HQ at the Nürburgring circuit in Germany, where the company polishes its N vehicles to perfection.

Staying true to the ‘all show and no extra go’ motto, the car still relies on its stock 280-PS (276-hp; 206-kW) engine and manual transmission, although you can opt for a preselector DCT if you want to. The driven front axle has a self-locking differential installed for torque control.
