Hyundai has released yet another teaser pic showing the cabin of the Ioniq 5, an electric vehicle set to debut on next Tuesday, February 23, 2021.
This is the Korean manufacturer’s first EV based on the E-GMP architecture with a flat traction battery. The innovative layout enables it to maximize interior space.
The image draws attention to an innovative center console design that enables moving it back and forward. The front seats come draped in an eco-friendly leather substitute treated with flaxseed oil and feature comfortable footrests.
Elsewhere, the company uses textile materials made of reprocessed biological components such as sugarcane, wool, and a fabric woven from PET bottle plastics.
