Hyundai Ioniq 5 rides low and sporty on new aftermarket springs

Suspension manufacturer H&R has launched sales of a fixed-height lowering spring kit for the Hyundai Ioniq 5, improving upon its (admittedly already stellar) appearance and drivability.

The upgrade is compatible with both the single- and the dual-motor spec, but there is a catch. If the 2WD version goes down 30 mm (1.2”) at both axles, the 4WD one doesn’t drop any lower than 25 mm (1”) at the rear end. Regardless, installing the kit should make handling and especially cornering more predictable at higher accelerations thanks to a lower center of gravity.

The H&R springs can already be purchased in Germany starting from €391 per set. Optional Trak+ wheel spacers are available from €174 / 2pcs.
