A video recently went viral in Estonia showing a large recovery truck stuck dead in the snow until an all-electric Hyundai Ioniq 5 came to the rescue.
Everything seems to suggest that the truck failed to ascend a snowy slope due to a layer of ice underneath the snow. It kept skidding back and ultimately came to a half pretty much in the middle of the road. This is when the small Korean crossover came by and offered help.
Despite being several times smaller, the Ioniq 5 did a superb job pulling the truck out of the trap. It didn’t even skid much, probably thanks to a sophisticated traction control system. We cannot say how easy the maneuver was to perform, but it certainly does seem effortless at a glance. Impressive, isn’t it?
