A recent spy video provides evidence that Hyundai continues perfecting its all-electric SUV, the Ioniq 5 N. Two vehicles have been sighted on the Nürburgring this time around.
Both pre-production cars wore camo, but both looked much like the stock Ioniq 5. There has been no announcement regarding the drivetrain of the new ‘N’ model, but 600 PS (592 hp / 441 kW) or more seems likely.
The manufacturer promises to implement a “next-gen battery technology” in the N cars thanks to which they will offer only marginally less driving range than their less powerful counterparts. The stock Ioniq 5 comes EPA-rated at 256 miles, or 412 kilometers.
In earlier news, Hyundai confirmed that the Ioniq 5 N would debut at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed on July 13–16.
