Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift spotted running around in the USA

AutoReview has posted new spy photos of a refreshed Hyundai Ioniq 5 wearing camo to the streets of California. The last time the EV was updated was in 2022, but it seems ready for more.

The prototype is wrapped in thick tarpaulin, but we actually suspect that the exterior hasn’t changed that much. From what little can be seen, the modifications are minimal. The bumpers and door moldings appear slightly new, but that’s about it. The interior, on the other hand, could receive a more substantial makeover.

The current Ioniq 5 (see video) is available in two main versions. Standard Range has 170 PS (168 hp / 125 kW), 350 Nm (258 lb-ft) of torque and 384 km (238 miles) of range from a 58-kWh traction battery. Long Range utilizes a bigger 77.4-kWh battery pack and covers 507 km (315 miles) on a charge. It is also a fair bit beefier with 235 PS (232 hp / 173 kW) and 605 Nm (446 lb-ft) of torque heading to the wheels.
