You can finally have a good look at the sleek all-electric Hyundai Ioniq 6, although technical bits will have to wait until July 14.
In its teaser campaign, Hyundai praised the aerodynamic performance of the car, and it shows. The arched body, which is obviously based on the Prophecy Concept from before, appears to be gliding on air rather than riding on asphalt. The drag ratio has not been mentioned yet, but we expect something impressive.
Other than that, the exterior is minimalistic with vertical front bumper inserts at the sides, a smooth hood and slightly raised headlight units. The waistline is curved and serves to highlight the arched shape of the roof. The rear bumper has more vertical inserts along with a spoiler and taillights spanning its entire width with square Pixel elements. The wheels boast complex asymmetrical patterns.
A peek inside reveals an infotainment display and a digital dash screen merged together. There is neon backlighting everywhere, and the center console is rather miniature, as is the HVAC panel. Minimalism also appears to be the dominant theme here.
