Hyundai has shared a few images of its upcoming Kona N. Despite the dark gamma, the hot crossover SUV debuts in its full size with all the main outlines and details in view.
Based on the images, the overall design resembles that of the lukewarm N-Line version, with an added red stripe at the sides, a new front grille pattern, oversized dual exhaust tips, and a rear spoiler housing a triangular brake light.
Engine specifications are pending. Hyundai did mention that the Kona N would pack a 2.0-liter turbo, but no details were provided. The Hyundai i30 N uses a mill that matches the description for 275 PS (271 hp / 202 kW). As for the transmission, an eight-speed DCT seems likely.
