U.S. tuner Bisimoto has uploaded a video featuring one of its newer projects, a Hyundai Santa Fe SUV boosted to produce a mind-boggling 1,040 horsepower (776 kilowatts). Click ‘Play’ and listen to the monster engine roar during a burnout.
The tuner built this particular Santa Fe for a SEMA show three years ago. The team fitted it with an Equus rear differential and made it purely rear-driven.
The hood cover opens to reveal a 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 gas engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission borrowed from a Genesis R-Spec sedan.
Among other things, the custom Hyundai Santa Fe sports a roll cage, Momo bucket seats, and a ‘badass’ performance exhaust system.
In 2018, the Korean car manufacturer entered the SEMA show with accessorized versions of the Ioniq and Veloster N.
