New Hyundai Santa Fe sketch shows a highly different vehicle

Hyundai Motor Company has published the first sketch of its updated Santa Fe crossover. While none too revealing, the teaser pic nonetheless succeeds in showing what looks nothing like the Santa Fe SUV currently in the market.

It seems like the designers drew most of their inspiration from the junior Hyundai Kona model – the bumpers and the LED lights of the new vehicle, while somewhat reimagined, still look very much like those of Kona.

The company said it provided the latest Hyundai Santa Fe with all the modern safety and steering assistance systems it could – one of the highlights being a kid-in-the-car alarm to alert those neglectful parents who think it fine to abandon their kids on backseats for hours at a time.

Engine options and other technical specs remain undisclosed at the moment. The new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe crossover will premiere at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 8-18, 2018.
