The South Korean Hyundai Motor Company has begun accepting pre-orders for the next-generation Santa Fe crossovers to be delivered to their owners in summer. To celebrate the beginning of the sales, it has posted some photos showing the car both from the outside and the inside, and even revealed some technical specifications.
The 4th generation of Hyundai Santa Fe looks almost completely different from its predecessors, a fact further emphasized by a cascaded radiator grille and originally-shaped diode headlights.
The new Hyundai Santa Fe enters its home market in Korea with a 2.0-liter gasoline engine and two diesels – 2.0L and 2.2L – to choose from. No further dynamic performance data is being provided by the manufacturer. It is, however, worth noting that the newcomer is Hyundai’s first SUV with 4WD onboard.
Moving with the times, the manufacturer has outfitted the car with the most up-to-date systems for better road control, comfort and overall driving safety.
Prices begin at 28,150,000 South Korean won.
