Hyundai has launched the special Inspiration edition of its restyled Santa Fe crossover series it introduced in February 2018. The release brings both exterior and interior changes.
The side moldings, which used to be colorless in the main series, are now painted to match the tint of the car body. The silvery front lip now spans fully side to side, and there is a new, chrome-coated radiator grille.
The special edition also boasts silvery side mirror linings, 19-inch wheels and exhaust pipes that are now located at the opposite sides of the vehicle.
The interior brings even more innovation, the most notable of which perhaps being the dark Bordeaux seat upholstery consisting of stitched leather and chamois. Front windows are now dual-layered for better noise insulation. Last but not least, there is a new steering wheel with a paddle shifter.
Buyers of the new 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Inspiration may choose among several drivetrain options, including 2.0L and 2.2L diesel engines and a turbocharged 2.0L gasoline engine. The latter is the cheapest of the three, starting at 33,500 USD.
