Car spotters have nabbed the Hyundai Sonata facelift running around with new Kona-style headlights and a slightly altered rear.
Unlike the pre-facelift version shown in the video below, the new one has a DRL strip running across the entire nose of the sedan. The main headlight units are mounted below and framed with boomerang-shaped chrome trims. The radiator grille is also larger and makes use of more chrome than before.
The tail-end stays largely the same except for revised taillights, at least as far as the photos reveal. The cabin remains to be shown, and we are unaware of any pending alterations in the engine lineup.
Browse to the end of our gallery to see some earlier spy shots of the same car wrapped in camo. The newer version had no wrap whatsoever and was probably photographed during an ad shoot, although there has been no confirmation yet.
Rumor has it that Hyundai intends to discontinue the Sonata lineup for good by 2026 or so without any replacement in mind.
As for the front fascia styling seen here, we have already seen something like it on the Kona SUV, the larger Grandeur saloon, and the Staria MPV.
