Hyundai to bring its updated Sonata Hybrid to the Chicago Auto Show

A model update of the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid four-door sedan will premiere at the International Auto Show in Chicago, U.S.A. starting on February 10, 2018.

The next-generation car from the South Korean automaker looks pretty much like an exact copy of its regular sedan version which debuted in New York some time ago. The company refuses to provide any detailed information at this moment, but we may reasonably expect the new Hyundai Sonata Hybrid to be shipped with a variety of steering assistance and safety-oriented features.

It is also likely to arrive in the showrooms with a new hybrid unit composed of a two-liter gasoline engine, an electric motor and a battery set. Its exact performance is unknown, but it bears mentioning that the current hybrid model has 193 hp under the hood.
