Hyundai already offers its Staria minivan in a variety of flavors, including MPV, LCV and even school bus. A new member called Lounge Camper joins the family now with lots of recreation opportunities on board.
The RV will be available domestically in variants called Camper 4 and Camper 11, where the number stands for the maximum number of seats. It has a power-assisted roof tent with an inflatable mattress inside, a 36-liter fridge, a kitchen sink with a faucet, a tray table and a number of fitted side shelves.
A special panel in the back houses an AC socket for appliances, although you can opt to have an outdoor shower kit installed there as well. Two people can sleep on a bed inside the car and two others in the roof tent.
Engine options for the Staria Lounge Camper include a 2.2-liter turbo diesel and a 3.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol V6.
Prices start from 49,470,000 Korean won. The top spec starts from 68,580,000 KRW, but ticking off all the boxes in the options list will add a hefty premium on top of that.
