Someone from South Korea has photographed the development mule of the next-gen Hyundai Tucson from inside. Care to see what’s coming up?
A roughly semi-circular instrument panel sits behind the steering wheel, divided into three areas: analog instruments at the left and the right, and a digital display in the middle. We suspect that this may be a low-end spec, because the higher trims of the Hyundai Tucson will likely boast an all-digital dashboard design.
The rest you may compare for yourself by watching the video here, which shows the current-gen Tucson. The main highlights include a new Sonata-style steering wheel, an integrated infotainment display, and a button pad for gear selection instead of the usual stick.
In its third iteration, the Tucson will become available in a PHEV form for the first time on record. It will also ship with a Theta3 2.5-liter engine partnered with eight-speed automatic transmission.
