An early design sketch of the 2021 Hyundai Tucson cabin is quickly gaining popularity online, so let’s see what it is about.
The only image available so far shows what looks like a rather minimalistic Hyundai car interior dominated by a rectangular digital dash panel and a large, portrait-oriented central display.
Media learned early in June that the new Tucson may ship with a Tesla-like vertical screen. Industry pros expressed the opinion that this layout would be used in the China-spec Tucson, while the other markets will get a more traditional configuration with the display merged with the climate controls.
When the new model ships, it will likely do so with a 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine rated at 183 hp (136 kW), a 2.0-liter diesel, a 2.5 T-GDI worth 294 hp (219 kW), and a hybrid system based on a 1.6L petrol engine.
The 2021 Tucson will be introduced either late this year or early the next one.
