Next-gen Hyundai Tucson flashes brand logo on the rear window

These fresh spy shots of the next-generation Hyundai Tucson were made on a public road in South Korea, where the SUV is currently running pre-production tests.

Despite the otherwise impervious prototype camo, it is obvious that the vehicle takes after the Hyundai Vision T Concept (watch the video if you missed it). The manufacturer claims the new iteration of the Tucson series brings along more performance, comfort and individuality.

To this end, the cabin layout will be thoroughly revised to suit the driver’s needs. All the needed switches, buttons and instruments will be close at hand, gears will be selectable with a button push (no stick), and the steering wheel will be identical to that of the latest Sonata. The Hyundai emblem will move to the rear glass and the caption to the front license plate area.

The reworked Hyundai Tucson should hit the showrooms sometime in late 2020 – early 2021.
