Hyundai Tucson N Line bows with improved suspension & kit

Hyundai has unveiled the warmed-up N Line version of its Tucson SUV, coming to the market with numerous improvements across the board.

Starting at the front end, the bumper is new and the air intake is larger. The body kit down the sides is painted to match the car body, and a wide rear diffuser crowns the tail end. Rear turn blinkers broke free from the brake lights and now sit below them. Electronic shocks are available at a premium, while the dual exhaust tips – interestingly enough – are the same as on the standard Tucson.

The new N Line will not ship with any of the entry-level engines the Tucson had. Its standard engine is the 1.6-liter turbo rated at 150 PS (148 hp / 110 kW) without electrification. You can opt for a mild hybrid system capable of 150 PS or 180 PS (178 hp / 132 kW), a regular hybrid rated at 230 PS (227 hp / 169 kW), or a PHEV variant good for 265 PS (261 hp / 195 kW). A six-speed automatic transmission sends the momentum to either all four wheels or just the front two.

A range-topping Tucson N armed with a 2.5-liter turbo engine of the Sonata N Line is expected to join the lineup later, rated at 294 PS (290 hp / 216 kW).

The Hyundai Tucson N Line will go on sale in Europe this spring.
