There is now a plug-in hybrid version in the Tucson N range priced starting from U.S. $30,600.
The N package makes sure that the Tucson looks more aggressive than ever thanks to new bumpers, radiator grille, black headlight bezels and side mirrors, dual exhaust finishers, and a rear spoiler.
Also included are special 19-inch wheels, N Line branding outside and inside, and a cabin trimmed in black with red accents.
The plug-in hybrid version utilizes a 1.6-liter turbocharged engine and an electric motor to hit the wheels with up to 261 PS (257 hp / 192 kW). A 13.8-kWh battery gives it 32 miles (51.5 km) of all-electric driving range.
