Shortly after updating the international version of its Tucson SUV, Hyundai has done the same with its short-wheelbase EU counterpart.
These cars are being made exclusively at the Hyundai factory in the Czech Republic and shipped to 60 markets worldwide, but mostly the EU countries. Like the global long-wheelbase version, the new Tucson for Europe gets a mildly tweaked exterior and a completely redone cabin.
All powertrain options remain to be announced, but it’s a safe bet that the emphasis will be on hybrids – both mild and plug-in.
