Hyundai has taken the wraps off the Performance Car Concept, its ultimate take on the Veloster N hatchback, at the ongoing 2019 Seoul Motor Show in South Korea. The vehicle is fitted with a grand total of 45 in-house upgrades and options, including 14 purely technical ones.
The display car flaunts carbon side skirts, a rear diffuser, a rear wing, and a splitter. It also sports a new hood design with a massive air intake dome, a different front bumper, orange mirror cap accents, and lightweight OZ wheels clad in Pirelli P-Zero Corsa performance rubber.
A side effect of all the tuning is that the Hyundai Veloster N Performance Car weighs 30 kilograms (66 lbs) less than the production model.
The previously mentioned technical upgrades include a performance exhaust system with a powerful soundtrack of its own, six-piston brakes, and a suspension lowering kit that comes bundled with stiffer shock absorbers.
The car comes powered by the same old 2.0-liter turbocharged engine churning out around 275 hp (205 kW), linked to a manual transmission that has automatic throttle control.
