Hyundai has conducted a two-day-long series of tests of its first all-electric, mid-engine, RWD racecar ever: the Veloster N ETCR. Watch the video for more information.
The engineer team used the Hungaroring motorsport track in Budapest, Hungary, to evaluate the performance of all units and components of the car for their subsequent optimization. Hyundai said this was still just the beginning of its complex preparations to the ETCR racing series starting next year.
No technical details have been provided, except that the car packs a portable fueling station based on two NEXO hydrogens fuel cells. The system can power up two Veloster N ETCR cars in 45 minutes.
