Rumors from several days ago that Hyundai might ditch the not-so-popular Veloster in the United States were proven false, but the company conceded that the model would be available until the end of 2022 in fewer trim options.
The statement made no mention of any specific trims Hyundai may cut or leave in the lineup. The latest-gen Veloster is available in specs called 2.0, 2.0 Premium, Turbo R-Spec, Turbo, Turbo Ultimate, and N.
The South Korean marque only sold 6,785 Veloster units in the USA last year. Prices begin from $18,900 for a 2.0-liter four-cylinder, 147 PS (145 hp / 108 kW), 179 Nm (132 lb-ft) and six-speed M/T.
