Hyundai Verna set to debut with two large displays

Hyundai has posted new details about the next-generation Verna/Solaris sedan. Apparently, the model will feature dual big screens on the dash and customizable infotainment dials (yay, hardware dials!).

Select trims will also get front seat ventilation. The launch in India is expected on March 21, 2023.

The screens will become much larger than in the previous generation. For instance, the central touchscreen, which maxed out at just 8 inches earlier, will now start from 10.25 inches in the base spec. A digital dashboard has the same size now and is merged with the head unit.

The hardware buttons and controls will remain available, and the users will know to appreciate two fully customizable rotary knobs. You will be free to assign climate control or multimedia functions on these knobs. Hyundai proudly points out that this is the first time this solution finds use in this particular market segment.

Another novelty comes in the form of an 8-channel Bose audio system coming to replace the old Arkamys system. The front seats will get heating and ventilation options, and a new black-and-beige interior trim will be added to the catalog when the next-gen Verna/Solaris reaches the showrooms in India.
