Carmaker Ineos has been producing its Grenadier SUV for three years now, so it needed to remind us why it is so cool. The car was sent 1.3 kilometers (~4,300 feet) underground to a salt mine in Germany.
In the accompanying description of the video, the company emphasizes that the aggressive environment of the mine can cause corrosion, but the Grenadier is safe from such hazards. It wears a particularly solid coat of paint applied via electrostatics, with all bodywork cavities additionally proofed with wax and powder coatings.
