Ineos Grenadier spawns a deluxe edition

Banked as the ideological successor to the first generation of the Land Rover Defender, the Ineos Grenadier has rather basic cabin trim. A new version called Detour is coming to fix that for just 200 buyers.

Starting with the standard Grenadier, the exclusive Detour trim livens it up with a whole palette of new exterior colors – red, blue, silver and green. It also replaces the radiator grille with a less boring variant and puts 18-inch forged wheels inside the wells. Some other trim-specific décor can be found throughout, too.

For the interior, customers can choose from four leather seat designs and two headliner options. The kick plates and the accents all around benefit from premium materials, and there are “Arcane Works” badges all around, hand-crafted by one of the jewelry houses in the UK. Arcane Works is the name of the Ineos division responsible for this limited edition.

Things stay the same under the hood, meaning you can choose between a petrol and a diesel BMW six-cylinder. Ineos does throw in a custom exhaust system, though.

Prices start from a cool £134,100. For reference, the new Range Rover starts nearly £30,000 below in the UK.
