The Japanese brand exists
only 28 years and can not boast of a rich historical heritage. But this year
Infiniti decided to impress everyone and built a unique concept, which showed
how the vintage racing car of the brand could look in the thirties of the last
century.
In motion, Infiniti
Prototype 9 Concept leads an electric motor on the rear axle, borrowed from the
new hatchback Nissan Leaf. Its power is 150 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque.
From 0 to the first "hundred", the retrocar accelerates in less than
5.5 seconds. The maximum speed of the car is limited to 170 km / h. The stock
of batteries of the electric vehicle is enough for 20 minutes of continuous
driving on the track.
The appearance of the
concept has nothing to do with modern models of Infiniti. Remarkably similar is
the chrome grille of characteristic shape and, of course, the brand logo.
All the details of the body
of the unusual Infiniti Prototype 9 Concept are made of lightweight modern
materials, so the mass of the car is only 890 kilograms.
