Japanese luxury car manufacturer Infiniti will be coming to the Detroit Motor Show with an all-electric design study called the QX Inspiration Concept. If the car ever makes it into production, it will fight against hi-end Tesla vehicles for buyer attention.
The car reflects the future design philosophy of the Japanese marque. It sports narrow LED headlights, a faux grille with a company logo and backlight, exterior cameras acting as a replacement for the side mirrors, and fender flares.
The Infiniti QX Inspiration also makes use of a brand-new automotive platform designed specifically for the all-electric vehicles. Its technical specs remain unannounced.
In an earlier statement, Infiniti said it would launch its first EV in 2021 in China.
