It became known that the Japanese automaker Infiniti will present its first serial electric vehicle in 2019. It is interesting that, unlike other brands, Infiniti will create a new product from scratch, and will not use existing similar models from other manufacturers.
According to Alfonso Albaisu, vice president of global design at Nissan, the owner of the Infiniti brand, the electric car will receive a new chassis, but nothing is known about its technical characteristics. Now all the fans of the brand and eco-friendly cars are waiting for the January showroom in Detroit, where, as expected, the pre-series presentation of the novelty will take place.
Recall, this summer, Infiniti introduced the concept of Prototype 9. He received an electric motor with a capacity of 150 horsepower, which accelerates the novelty to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds. And its design resembles the style of racing cars produced in the forties of the last century.
