The closer to the premiere date, the more teaser pics Infiniti publishes online. This time around, however, the company decided against revealing another small detail of the upcoming all-electric roadster vehicle and instead gave us what could be called a full-fledged design sketch.
The concept car, which goes under the name of Prototype 10 so far, will debut at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California, USA on August 23, 2018.
The Prototype 10 will demonstrate how the design philosophy of the marque will evolve in the foreseeable future. We have already seen another car built with the exact same purpose, the Infiniti Q Inspiration Concept. It featured a narrow windshield and a broad and rather elongated rear.
It is unknown so far what kind of engine the Infiniti Prototype 10 ends up with. Its predecessor, the Prototype 9, came equipped with a Nissan engine good fir 150 hp (112 kW) and 320 Nm (236 lb·ft) of torque.
The car will enter production in 2021 or later, and will be released in China first.
