Infiniti has torn the wraps off its 2020 QX50. Let’s see what the refreshed luxury SUV brings to the table.
The first thing would be the new InTouch multimedia system that supports smartphones. The center console now has two displays on it, measuring 7 and 8 inches across (top and bottom, respectively).
Even more interestingly, there are two new trim levels to choose from. One of this is called Sensory and packs adaptive LED headlights, a panoramic glass dome, roof railings, 20-inch alloy wheels, premium audio, GPS navigation etc. The other one – Autograph – adds a HUD, adaptive steering (ProPILOT Assist), a three-zone climate control system, and ventilated seats wrapped in semi-aniline leather.
Safety aids include automatic brake while reversing, lane control, pedestrian and traffic sign recognition, and blind zone monitoring.
Powering the 2020 Infiniti QX50 is the old VC-Turbo engine with four cylinders and two liters of displacement room. A continuously variable transmission is charged with sending 268 hp (200 kW) and 379 Nm (280 pound-feet) of torque to all four wheels.
