The public showing of the new Infiniti QX50 is still planned for the LA Auto Show next week. However, the company didn’t mind dispelling the mystery around their latest creation and published several new photos of it.
The exterior of the car apparently remained unchanged from the concept of the name which was presented in Detroit in January 2017. Headlights, fog lamps and rear view mirrors are the only visible elements altered.
The QX50 is also the first vehicle to receive the new 2.0L V4 bi-turbo engine that outputs 268 HP and has a torque of 380 Nm. The car goes 0-100 km/h (0-60 mph) in roughly 6.5 seconds.
The novelty comes with the Pro-Pilot system which automatically controls the steering wheel, accelerator, and brakes as long as the car stays within its lane.
