Arctic Trucks puts prices on its hardcore Isuzu D-Max AT35 for the UK

According to Arctic Trucks, the particularly off-road-capable Isuzu D-Max AT35 will start from £48,000 in Great Britain for the stick-shift version – almost $16,000 above stock.

The donor vehicle is the new D-Max V-Cross, which debuted last year. Upgrades are extensive and concern the frame, the body and the drivetrain, so let us focus on just the highlights.

The truck rides on 17-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 35-inch all-terrain tires and benefits from more than 50 mm (2 inches) of extra ride height. Bilstein springs and shocks improve comfort and handling. Perhaps even more importantly, modified aprons and extra ground clearance allow for approach, departure and ramp angles as high as 35, 29 and 34 degrees, respectively.

The engine remains stock, which for UK buyers implies a turbocharged diesel unit capable of 164 PS (162 hp / 121 kW) and 360 Nm (266 lb-ft) of torque. A six-speed manual transmission drives the wheels by default, but throwing in an extra £1,500 nets you a six-speed automatic.
