Having founded multiple joint enterprises with different car companies, the Chinese IT corporation now has its eyes firmly set on the luxury segment of the market.
The corresponding statement was made by Yu Chengdong, the boss of the company’s automotive branch. He added that the car – which is allegedly already in co-development with JAC Group – will take the competition to the likes of Maybach and Rolls-Royce.
You may get an idea of what JAC luxury concepts look like by watching the video and checking out the gallery below. As for the definition of “luxury”, it’s rather liberal in China and generally encompasses all vehicles worth more than a million Yuan, or $140,000.
The premiere has been penciled in for late 2024.
