Yielding to requests of multiple interested clients, German tuner Arden Automotive GmbH has launched an upgrade program dedicated to its own tuned Jaguar series. The first revamped vehicle to roll off the garage is this gorgeous Arden Jaguar AJ 4.
The team worked on a Jaguar Series III XJ12 sports car, which belonged to a limited series of only 234 copies. Engine power received the highest priority this time around.
To that end, the car gained new intake manifolds, larger throttle bodies, a sports-grade exhaust system and an ECU remap. As a result, its dated 12-cylinder engine went up to some respectable 320 hp (240 kW) and 438 Nm (323 lbft) of torque.
The revised vehicle now sports progressively wound suspension springs and independent Koni shock absorbers. It also wears a front spoiler with larger air scoops, 18-inch wheels clad in wide tires, stronger brakes, black trim elements here and there, and a special Arden Jaguar hood ornament.
