At the beginning of the
week, the British company Jaguar Land Rover showed the public a removable
steering wheel with artificial intelligence called Sayer, and now introduced
the futuristic concept itself, in which it will be installed.
The three-seat concept
prototype, was called the Jaguar Future-Type Concept, debuted as part of the
Jaguar Land Rover Tech Fest technical festival in London. An unusual concept
demonstrates what cars can be like in the future, according to the British
automaker.
The Jaguar Future-Type
Concept is a fully autonomous vehicle designed for the urban car-racing system,
which, according to the manufacturer, will replace personal vehicles.
The developers believe that
by 2040 only the steering wheel will belong to the driver from the entire car.
Since it will be removable, the Sayer steering wheel can act as a key for the
car, recognize voice commands, will be able to calculate when the driver needs
to wake up, by which time to submit a stand-alone car and even remind the owner
of an important meeting.
At the moment, no details
about the technical characteristics of the conceptual prototype Jaguar
Future-Type Concept is not reported.
