Jaguar E-Pace espied underway to update in 2020

The Jaguar E-Pace SUV was launched in the summer of 2017, and it looks like the model will be receiving its first facelift next year. The prototype is still wrapped in camo, but some features can still be made out.

It looks like both bumpers, the headlights and the radiator grille will all be redesigned to better suit the times. Beyond this, any conclusions would be premature. The cabin likewise remains a mystery at the moment.

The current generation ships with an assortment of gasoline engines ranging from 200 to 300 horsepower (150 – 224 kW) and diesel ones varying from 150 to 240 hp (112 – 180 kW). The transmission can be either six-speed manual or nine-speed automatic, and the drive can be either front or 4x4. The mid-generational refresh might add a mild-hybrid powertrain to the lineup, likely the same as that of the latest Range Rover Evoque.
