David Brown Automotive, a British company with a reputation of an expert classic car restorer, has announced another major project. This time around it’s a modified version of the Speedback GT retro sports vehicle.
The latter debuted in 2017 with a Jaguar XKR chassis but a brand-new custom body made of heavy-duty aluminum. David Brown Automotive wants to re-release it under the model name of Silverstone.
It’s still too early for detailed information, though. all we know is that he vehicle is going to get an engine with an output in excess of 600 hp, be manually assembled and debut at the 88th Geneva International Motor Show in Switzerland on March 8 – 18, 2018.
MINI Remastered is an example of another project by David Brown Automotive. The recreated classic minicar got LED headlights, climate control, an up-to-date multimedia center, a speaker set and other features common in modern cars.
