A facelifted version of the Jaguar F-Type coupe has been spotted and photographed during a test run at the famed North Loop of the Nürburgring Circuit in Germany.
As evidenced by the shots and the video, the sports car will be getting new headlights and bumpers while staying true to its original body design. Despite the rumors claiming that the new F-Type will go all-electric, this particular example sounds like it has a gasoline engine on board. Given the recent whispers that JLR struck a deal with BMW for joint development of engines, this could be the Bavarian carmaker’s signature 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8. Then again, we won’t know for sure until much later.
The facelifted F-Type is generally expected to premiere in 2020 and arrive on the market in 2021.
